Letter "C" Nonogram (5×5)
This is the Letter "C" nonogram — a 5×5 picture logic puzzle. Use the number clues beside each row and column to work out which squares are filled, and the picture appears as you go. Every square can be deduced; you never have to guess.

How this board opens
A first sweep of the overlap rule down the rows and across the columns settles 11 of the 25 cells, about 44%, which is enough of a skeleton to work outwards from. The most generous opening is column 5, which gives up 5 cells on its own. One of the 10 lines is decided outright by its clue, with no room to slide. Straight line logic carries it to 17 cells and then stalls, so the last 8 need cross-referencing between a row and a column that share a cell. The finished picture fills 9 cells and the longest run anywhere in the clues is only 3, so it is built from short marks rather than long bars — expect to lean on the gaps as much as the blocks.
About this category
