Overview

Nonogram Hub ("we", "us") operates nonogramhub.com. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site, how it's used, and the choices available to you. Playing a puzzle without an account never requires you to share any personal information.

Information we collect

Account data. If you create an account, we store your name, email address, and a securely hashed password (or your Google account identifier if you sign in with Google), along with your puzzle progress, streak, and points.

Guest data. If you play without an account, your progress, streak, and points are stored only in your browser's local storage and never leave your device. Clearing your browser data removes this information permanently.

Cookies and local storage

We use local storage (and, where necessary, cookies) to remember your language, theme, gameplay settings, guest progress, and — for signed-in users — your login session. These are functional and are not used to build an advertising profile on their own.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how the site is used — for example, which pages are visited and whether a puzzle was completed. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies and may process data as described in Google's Privacy Policy. You can use browser extensions or settings (such as Google's Analytics opt-out add-on) to limit this collection.

Advertising

Nonogram Hub is preparing to show advertising through Google AdSense to help fund free access to the site. Advertising is not currently active. When it is enabled, Google and its advertising partners (third-party vendors and ad networks) may use cookies or similar identifiers to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Where legally required — including for visitors in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland — we will only enable advertising once an appropriate consent mechanism is in place, so you'll be asked for your preferences before any ad-related cookies are set. Third-party service providers

We rely on third-party infrastructure and service providers to run the site, including hosting, database, authentication, and the analytics and (future) advertising services described above. These providers process data only as needed to provide their service to us.

Your choices

Children's privacy

Nonogram Hub is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves — for example, once advertising is actually enabled. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "last updated" date above.
